Ohio Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a statewide preschool program that serves children 3-5 years of age who reside in an eligible school district. Ohio ECE provides comprehensive preschool services that support a child’s growth and prepare children for success in kindergarten. Services are provided in a preschool center-based setting in a full day program Monday through Thursday. ECE is funded by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth.
